Well, the cover up was impossible, I don't recall any conspiracy gaining much more political movements, nor has any cover up created so many documentaries. I don't even think there are as many about JFK... Word is spreading fast so no, this was not covered up well...You say the Govt. changes every 4-8 years. Yes it is indep people, with degrees and qualifications, but they do not test it as thoroughly as peer review would provide, and they are biased...a similar example: there are many qualified people who think Kennedy's assassination was a planned event, or there was a second shooter, etc. Those people are in the same boat as your indep researchers, and they have also been debunked by reality and good science

Experts for both sides have done legitimate simulations, evidence gathering, etc. The gov't often chooses the study that will result in the best spin for their goals, but whether they had those goals before the event, or just seen an opportunity is not evident by any of thisAnd yes, a coordinated hijacking of jets, letting on no sign that they were taken until too late, and the most powerful military in history being startled, hesitating, making a bad choice (whatever) is completely plausible.

So if the towers truly collapsed from the effect of burning fuel then all tower building regulations..globally , would have been re- visited in light of this finding . In comparison the oil and gas business was significantly shaken up in light of the findings of a REAL enquiry following the Piper Alpha explosion.! Q.
