margarito never headlined a ppv fight thats why the fight with cotto was so huge for him.. as for mayweather and margarito.. i do agree that margarito is a high ass risk.. but i still dont think mayweather is scared of him.. mayweather would win a 12 ud gaurenteed.. because mayweather wont run out of gas like cotto did.. and cotto outbox marg. easy the first 5 rounds and some in the 6th mayweather would do that for 12.. just sticking and moving the whole time

lol Type in Margarito vs. Cintron (the 1st one) and you'll hear Jimmy Lennon say now it's time 4 the main event of the evening. That's what I'm talking about. So once again I'll go back 2 my earlier question wtf r u talking about?

Mayweather is very accomplished. And you're right u can't take that away. Margarito had a title, was coming off a ppv main event win over Kermit Cintron and Arum had offered 8 mil and Mayweather turned it down when the fight w/ Baldomir wasn't even on the table yet. I mean it was a smart move on a business standpoint 4 Floyd, because th risk of losing against Baldomir was MUCH lower. However, if he was truely confident in himself he would've taken the Margarito fight. He would've got the.....

im obviously talkin about the overall record not one or two fights.. and this is specifically what your said I QUOTE "Be4 the offer was made 4 Margarito 2 fight Mayweather, Margarito had already headlined a ppv at the time, what r u talking about?" margarito never healined a ppv until cotto! when he fought cintron.. shane mosley fought estrada.. when he fought cintron again cotto fought gomez.. so in actuallity WHAT ARE YOU TALKIN ABOUT?

As far as who has the most impressive wins on their resume, that clearly goes to Margarito. Margarito's 2 best wins and are vs. Cintron and Cotto. Mayweathers are against a older Oscar (which he barely pulled out) and against Hatton. If u talk about all their opponents combined I would slightly pick Mayweather.

i'll put it like this margarito is one tough fighter.. but you cant take away anything from mayweather.. he's accomplished what nobody in HISTORY has ever accomplished.. and because he turns down a deal with margarito for margaritos first headline ppv fight he all of sudden ducked him you could become a pro boxer and call out marg.. he wont fight you.. so now margarito is scared of you lol no he has better deals out there

when he fought on ppv vs. kermit cintron the first time he wasn't the headliner shane mosley was fighting David Estrada.. and when he gave him the rematch.. margarito wasnt the headliner cotto was fighting gomez.. so which headline ppv fight are you talking about especially one dating back to 2006? lol

I said a couple of different things about Margarito in different post, so what exactly r u referring 2 when u say u want some kind of evidence?.....If you're talking about Margarito's losses, those 4 the most part came early in his career when was real young and inexperienced. He didn't have the experience coming into the pro ranks like Mayweather did. As u can see by Margarito beating good undefeated fighters like Cintron and Cotto being undefeated doesn't make u the better fighter.

haha which fight did margarito headline for ppv b4 he tried to get the deal with mayweather.. i would like to hear this.. MARGARITO JUST FOUGHT HIS FIRST PPV FIGHT VERSE COTTO. AND THAT FIGHT JUST HAPPENED lmao these people think they know boxing yet they dont.. its funny

lmao.. what evidence of that do u have in the case of margarito.. mayweather? margarito record doesn't even compare to mayweathers.. the opposition he's faced doesn't compare to mayweather.. "if u know boxing" people turn down deals all the time not because there scared but because theres better deals out there

If u don't know boxing people duckfighters all the time, because they're worried about losing their "0".

Ohhhh u got me on grammar. Perhaps u could be my personal spelling assistant and find all my grammar and puntuation errors. In return I'll send u a dvd showing how Mayweather dethroned some of the worlds greatest champions ever like the unbeatable, defensive genius Arturo Gatti, and the lighting fast Carlos "Baldmoir"..... Be4 the offer was made 4 Margarito 2 fight Mayweather, Margarito had already headlined a ppv at the time, what r u talking about?

mayweather refuses to fight the best yet he has the most "prestiges" belt in 5 different weight class without losing lol.. margarito was still an undercard fighter when floyd turned down the deal.. if you dont know boxing.. people turn down fights all the time its apart of the game

cotto never mentioned that. and i can gaurentee that.. provide evidence give me a link.. mayweather said he would love to fight cotto.. and when cotto was given the oppurtunity to call out mayweather he didn't.. type in (floyd mayweather best to ever put on a pair of gloves) watch at 6:22 there is my evidence

Cotto is on a completely different level then Hatton. It's like comparing apples 2 oranges..... Cotto had mentioned something like for Mayweather 2 be considered the best u gotta fight the best, and he won't do that. Most people in their minds think Mayweather's the best, but we won't know because he refused/refuses 2 fight the best

Margarito had a title (so you're saying he wasn't going 2 put it on the line?), and besides, while the the wbc title is considered more prestiges let's face it, Margarito was more highly regarded then Baldomir. And at the time he turned Margarito down, the Baldomir fight wasn't even on the table.

but i dont understand why you say mayweather wouldn't dare to step in the ring with cotto because cotto has never called out mayeather.. type in floyd mayweather best boxer to put on a pair of gloves.. at 6:22 is my evidence of mayweather saying he would love to fight cotto.. in the same clip cotto is given the chance to call out mayweather but doesn't.. honestly mayweather would destroy cotto like he did hatton.. he would outbox marg for a 12 round decision but he would win both fights

it depends on what your trying to prove in boxing.. its obvious what mayweather is trying to do.. he wants to accomplish more then any boxer.. people look at statistics at the end of the day.. im sure his father and uncle taught him that so he wants to accomplish more then any boxer in history.. step in territory no boxer in history has been able to ~continued~

very good point.... but in boxing you have to prove who is the better boxer,or the best boxer, you don't only go after titles if there is something else to prove.i think cotto can beat him, considering mayweather wouldn't dare step in the ring with him
