I have always loved Yes and Close to Edge especially, but up to 3:46 this one sounds like a bloody shreds pilot episode.

I still have the Yes pendant I bought at this gig. It was quite rare for open air gigs at the time but I remember going with my then girlfriend (Hi Juliet) and having reservation about how Patrick Moraz would fill Rick's shoes. He never did but was a great musician and 'I' is a great album

Steve Howe often sounds like he's trying to stuff too many notes into his runs. He's like Jimmy Page in that he isn't all that polished despite having a clean sound and playing those big hollowbodies that don't allow you to fake your way through on feedback and fuzz (Ted Nugent was the same with his sound). But unlike Page you don't hear the same licks all the time -- Steve Howe is actually playing considered notes like a jazz guy rather than going on pure feel and muscle memory like a rocker.
