My parents had Admiral Televsions very much like this one in the 1950's. I think the new digital televsions system is a dramatic improvement. I have a small GE 5" color tv I use in the kitchen where I don't have cable and only watch the news, and did not want to replace it. With a new digital converter it has many more tv stations and all with perfect pictures. No more ghosts or buzzing.

Dorney Park? I went there once, when I was a kid, but their rides weren't half that great.

I collect and restore vintage radios and TV's. I recently acquired this TV from the original owner and recapped the TV as well as replaced the necessary tubes.

Has that TV always worked since it was new, or has it had any work done on it?
