Yeah, thank God for the remaining indies out there like WLNY here on Long Island...not only do they air a nice selection of first-run syndie shows (Wheel, J!, Oprah, Judge Judy, etc.) and reruns (24, CSI Miami, L&O SVU), they still run an 8:00 movie nearly every night (save for rare college sports coverage pre-emptions).

Most channels that have network affiliation have piddling crap on. Take 31 WUHF for example. That used to be such a great channel because it had old sit-coms, dramas, and cartoons. Now you'd be lucky if you can find anything on any channel that's affiliated with a network that's AT LEAST half-decent.

I remember the Sunday afternoon movie logo also was cool, and they had good movies on. Since UPN and MY9 took over that station is unfit for a dog to watch.

Does anyone know who the V/O guy is here? I remember hearing that guy provide the V/O for Hampton Roads' (now) CW affiliate WGNT for about 10 years (about 1990 to 2000-ish; well after it became UPN).
