It's not that I'm trying to make an argument... but taekwondo isn't just a pure sport. It's also an art of war just like any other arts out there.

in a way wushu is kung fu, kung fu literally means "advance by training", if I learn to cook better then that is kung fu. But due to the westerners knowledge kung fu is nowadays known as a style. Wushu means martial art btw, so i.e bagua zhang (wich is one of many styles of martial arts kung fu) is a wushu, if you know waht I mean.

Karate and Taekwondo is famous because they kick ass and its basically easy to learn. I am Taekwondo and wushu learner for years and I still think Taekwondo is easier.

wushu not kung fu, wushu taolo is the performance side judged like gymnastics, san shou is the full contact kickboxing side, with takedowns but grappling for no more than 22 seconds unlike mma

Wushu is pretty much like gymnastics. Sanda should be an Olympic sport though.

How do they keep score in gymnastics? form, presentation, difficulty etc. Pretty easy, TKD is lame and is irreverent these days. The skill that it takes to be on the Beijing wushu team far exceeds TKD. on the other hand it would be almost impossible for anyone to compete against the Beijing wushu team.

Kung fu should definitely be in the Olympics. When you consider the bullshit that the Olympics is already considering, then it's a no-brainer. They have chess and bridge under consideration, for God's sake. I'll take wushu over that -- or life saving and orienteering -- any day.
