DAMN YOU! I played Raiders all the time when I was about 8 or so and loved it. Although your very much right about every other game you've reviewed so far and I am tempted to subscribe.

I agree with YukiTheLaughingMan. Just because the directions on ROTLA are so vague doesn't mean it's a horrible game. At least it's more challenging than E.T. ever was!

some parts are unplayable because you usually fall in the holes everywhere. and personally i think the best adventure game on the atari was the game adventure

Come to think of it, Raiders of the Lost Ark was probably the best adventure game on the 2600, although I've not tried ET and many people claim parts of it are unplayable.

I agree with MasterJediDude. You're out of order here, Guardiane. Criticising the graphics on Atari 2600 games is like criticising a caveman for not knowing how to drive a car. ROTLA was a pretty good game for it's day (even if the scoring system was glitchy).

If you were a kid anywhere from 1977-1982, you probably enjoyed the Atari 2600 for what it was. Due to the hardware and limited graphics, you had to use your imagination a lot. And the developers did what they could with the system. Most 2600 games were repetitive and dull. There were few "thinking games" that provided a challenge. Raiders, E.T., Superman, and Adventure were games that required you to READ THE INSTRUCTION MANUAL. That's why most of you just don't get it - you're too young.
