John Lennon had a voice,They tried to silence it,but his voice lives on,in fields of strawberries.

Working class hero? Lennon was an affluent hippie. I am glad he was shot and killed with a Charter Arms .38 calibre revolver. Delete the pop-culture elite! Fuck 'im!

"I am an anarcho communist pacifist.."Thats an oxymoron bud. An anarchist doesn't assemble and would be very opposed to communism as well as fascism and everything in between.

The thing is, no hippie wishes to govern over their fellow man....And that's coming from a hippie. Peace.

Still amazing up to time, so actual. The best songwriter ever, so sad he was killed.Such a talent, imagine, how much he would have change at least the music into something "worth to listen to" ,instead of that shit spreading out everywhere.RIP J.Lennon

I can't stand Green Day's version. Legends shouldn't be covered by tinny pop-rock bands who seem to relish being a paradox.

I love both versions of this song, but John Lennon wins. Hands Down. Do not argue with me, becuz you know that I am right.I do like how GreenDay did their vid. 4 this tho, it takes the message from this song and shoots it to a new level by putting a situation that is actually happening in the world, into the video. either way, amazing song.
