This is clearly the better version (compared to the 2005 version). There was something slightly dark and sinister about Gene Wilder's Wonka, which I preferred to Depp's weird, Michael Jackson-inspired Wonka.

Gene Wilder has such pretty eyes! (& well, not gonna lie, he was quite the hunk back in the day... is it weird for a 14 year old to say that?).But yeah, this is one of my favorite movies of all time. The boat scene is still my favorite!<3
