Hehe guys, let me tell you something: diamonds blend. In fact you can´t cratch them with anything but a diamond because it is the hardest mineral on earth (actually the value 10 in the moh´s scale is derived from diamond). But the hardness of a mineral has absolutely nothing to do with its ability to break if you hit it for example with a hammer or put it in this hell of a machine. So don´t mix these two physical properties up, hardness and cleavage.

Which tools are those? Usually diamond powder slurry is used on a lap to "cut" (grind) diamonds. Diamonds can be cloven with a sharp blow however.
