polar cubs are ment to be in snow. they do perfectly fine in the wild while they are blind, if they didn't we would never have seen a polar bear for they would have died off thousands of years ago. plus would you like to be kept up in a "cage" to be viewed by polar bears, no i didn't think so.COME ON PEOPLE WE ALL WHERE BORN WITH A BRAIN HOW ABOUT USING IT!

You ARE aware that their habitat is quickly becoming an uninhabitable ocean in which they will inevitably drown? But, oh, yes, it'd be much better for them to drown in an endless sea than to live a protected, nurtured life in a place where people actually care about them.

ok, i think those of you who say being locked up is better b/c they COULD die in the wild are blind. what is the point of living if you cant live life to its fullest...there is no room for potential in a cell, these bears (true) COULD be shot in the wild...but they're living their life to its fullest out there...

I want to see the big one fight a crocodile. An event like that could raise some serious cash to protect the habitat of wild bears.
