My cousin was born in USA and she followed us to China for traveling a few years ago. Before that she has the same thought as you, to think that Chinese are very poor and China is a country with no freedom at all...but we took her to many place, and sometimes she just felt amazing of how different than she thought.

I have to say, if you'd never been to CHINA, to look around and to see what really happened in there, you should shut your mouth and stop pretend that you know the "truth". All these years, western media has twist the image of China. Your opinion may not come from yourself, just people say so and you follow it. i dont really trust china. in usa it has alot of human rights and if its troops do war crimes, its news reporter will always try to report the truth since they can get all the rights. But in china, its govt try to cover it up and warns it people not to expose the truth. china becoming superpower is a threat. imagine it troops go for occupation like usa did to iraq. china will threaten and cover its war crimes. usa is the right guy but china is a threat to this world.
