There is no way Joe Biden wrote the patriot act, you are the one who needs to do some reading. It was Bush's Assistant Attorney General Viet Dinh, Michael Chertoff, other GOP PNAC members, and members of the White House Iraq Group... You probably think Clinton wrote NAFTA (it was Bush 41), and Woodrow Wilson wrote Fed. Reserve Act (it was Taft)-- this is how the GOP operates, and then makes the next President sign it into law... just like Obama is being blamed for the economy now.

you're a dumb ass. Trickle down does work but under reagan domestic and military spending went through the roof. So he didn't follow his principles. and by the way the never deregulated so don't be a dumb ass and claim that it happened because of deregulation.

Was this guy even born yet while Reagan was president? The GOP rule for the past 40 years is: whatever they name something, like "Trickle Down," "War on Terror," or "Patriot Act," the public should believe the opposite e.g. "Trickle Up," War OF Terror," or "Unpatriotic Act."

Since the implementation of Reagan's trickle-down bullshit, there has been an annual average of $600B migrated from the lower 80% of earners to the top 1%. It slowed during the Clinton years, and then accelerated again under Bush the Idiot. That may add up to a success story to the Republicans, but to those of us who aren't supported by the top 1%, it adds up to a failed fiscal philosophy. Free market adjustments cannot function when corps control markets vertically and horizontally.

Free-market assholes are as bad as pure socialists - the ideologies all break down in the face of real humans. Free market theory presumes that predatory pricks whose only goal is to gain wealth will stay ethical - and if they don't, that the wisdom of the masses will "correct the market". Every piece of real history tells us otherwise. The predatory pricks will sell their grandmother's kidneys if there's a buck in it, and the market is dumb enough to buy whatever's advertised.

You call yourself consequentialists, yet you did not foresee the simple consequences of the imaginary bubble that you created upon the goods that you borrowed by returning only ideas. And yes, the ideas were good, but to only a certain point. Now those ideas are reproduced a hundred times better overseas and the shit which is hitting the fan at the present will have to be responded by a whole new culture or it will only stay there, stink and smell worse and worse bye the month...

The economy didn't collapse overnight. Reagan's "trickle down economics" started this mess and the Republicans think Reagan was the greatest thing since sliced bread. What a bunch of dumb asses.
