Excellent, good cartoons we enjoyed.Nowadays there aren't creatives, values and producers of cartoon like these. It is a pity children today watch scratch

Wally used to live in the swamp. Then the evil animal catchers captured him and locked him up in captivity. The opening intro is made from exerpts from the first Wally Gator show. Most people haven't seen that episode, it was only shown once and never again (except for the intro of course)

One thing I never understood- why do the opening titles and song have Wally in a swamp when the cartoons have him in a zoo?

I grew up watching & loving H-B cartoons. Nowadays I find them unbearable to watch compared to say WB cartoons. The thing I loved then and now is the music. Hoyt Curtin created some great , memorable music for these cartoons which makes watching today worth it. Love that Wally Gator theme.
