dont they also have a separate nitrous class? And if a fuel car tried to run a turbo, the exhaust side would melt due to the extreme heat.

s/c start with 9000 and loose a 1000 to the s/cturbo start with 7000 and finish with 9000

not only the turbo thing but they also have fully ported motors, lightweight rotating mass, multi spark ignition system, and THEY RUN ALCOHOL.

Because no one has tried turbos on fuel cars. Why do you think the IHRA has a seperate class now for turbo'd Pro Mods? Because the blower cars can't keep up with the turbos.

superchargers make power all the way through and turbos have to get the speed up. and yes, i no tht superchargers make less boost at lower rpm than higher so dont have to reply complaining

If it had a blower on it, it would sound SLOW. Turbos make more power than blowers period.

How am I wrong if you just agreed with me. I never said it did anything to increase the power. Your argument is wasted. Considering they primary did that video to show you the manifold glowing afterwards it's not a waste in relation to that. :)

Didnt need the lecture I'm aware of all of this. You trying building an internal combustion engine that wastes zero heat. Also when something looks that good it's hardly a waste. I love seeing the sight of a glowing manifold after a heavy drive. Acting the cunt on youtube makes you the moron.

Oh, but you are wrong. Yes, it is a "byproduct of combustion". But, that byproduct is energy. When that energy is allowed to be nothing more than radiant heat, it is wasted. The radiant heat is doing nothing to increase the power of the engine. In fact, it is making it worse, because it bleeds across the turbo, to the intake side, which them requires an intercooler, to reduce the heat passed over into the intake charge. So, not only is it wasted energy, it is detrimental.
