Well that's a good point! But don't use the need for us to do something as an excuse to avoid seeing the truth. And the truth is that UNICEF is using doubtful data. And more, this is generally accepted. If we work for water and polution, we have a better health. If we work for that global warming, we will have new fresh bought stuff. So.. is this strange game aboutis the Earth or... the economy?Poor world, polluted by words.

I don't think it's an excuse, we are responsible for the climate change and as a result for the suffering of all these people. We have to help these people, but we also have to stop the problem from its source, the climate change which WE have created. If we don't, the problems won't stop nomatter the help we are going to provide.

>"the climate is doing exactly what its supposed to".Exacerbated by global warming.Yes, Ethiopia/northern Africa had a drought 23 years ago (remember Live Aid?) so did Australia and other countries affected by the Pacific El Nino cycle, and we're just coming out of another cycle. We collectively need to reduce, reuse and recycle to mitigate the impacts of our standard of living on the wider world and climate.Don't use climate change skepticism as an excuse to do nothing!

i understand the people of Bali are in a dire situation due to draught. and i understand how children are the most affected by this. the same situation existed in Ethiopia a few decades ago. but i feel an organization like UNICEF should be telling people about the problem without the "climate change" blaming. the climate is doing exactly what its supposed to.
