Alright! You hate religion, I don't judge you for it. But nluv, that's just not true. Take Christians for example. A Christian follows the teachings of several prophets, such as Peter, Paul and John. All their teachings are, like you said, similar but different. Do I follow some of what Paul says? Sure. Do I believe everything Paul says? Of course not, I'm a homosexual. Peter teaches to accept me whereas Paul really doesn't. Point being? No one man is a perfect vassal of God.

Well, Mohammad did just that and morphed the New and Old Testament into what he thought they should be, and personally, no offense, I don't think one man's pov should be followed.Rather, I prefer to follow several different books and interpretations of God.
