I too have TBI. I miss the old me. When I didn't know 'me' anymore, my doctor said I was still me! I just needed a different way to express myself.

Never Give Up....My daughter has TBI due to encephalitis 4 years ago.. She was not able to walk, speak & eat. Although she has gain most of it back, she is still struggling in her speech.. It is very encouragaing to see everything that you have gone through. I know others who have a TBI and are still recovering from their injury. Every single day is a battle against all odds. I am in college at Abilene (Texas) Christian University-ACU- and am still recovering from my snowboarding accident over a year ago. You are awesome and encourging as well as very motivating.
