Hyper, obviously on a bike you're going to be more vulnerable if something happens. But a bike is not one tiny lttle bit less safe than the rider who drives it. Short of an unexpected slippery surface, accidents are caused by human error or plain reckless stupidity. When you first pass your test, you notice ALL the mistakes made by others on the road. After a while, you forget test technique & become one of the idiots yourself! Your self preservation instinct is what will make you a good driver.

This is a horrendous accident, the killer was speed in this, the rider wouldnt have overtaken that car approaching the corner if he had time to have a think. What a fucking idiot! Grrr! Makes me so angry! If you can't stay on the correct side of the road then you shouldn't be riding! You have to imagine that the white line in the middle of the road is a wall and if you go over it you will die....then you will be much safer....ugh what an idiot!
