No, he could've known it, but it was the pressure of the cameras and stuff. Then again, maybe he didn't know it or he forgot.

Tic Tac Dough hurt his credibility as a host? That's preposterous. If anything, it should have improved it by a considerable degree.

I think Jim Cladwell is happy here that he can start from scratch and not have to worry about following a legend on Top Card. He looks like he is enjoying himself but could still use a little more enthusiasm for players winning.Gambit is a great blackjack show however, Top Card makes blackjack work for itself. It has alot of strategic gameplay and luck of the cards to it though I think the freeze should be a choice every turn. Blake is attractive and this is pretty glitzy. I say 3.5 stars.

I haven't seen this show in years! My gosh, I almost forgot about it! The logo is somewhat similar to "Card Sharks", the greatest card game show of all time. "Top Card" was no "Card Sharks", but it was a pretty darn good one.

He was hoping that the next card was a ten or a face card...which it was.

This is a spin-off of another TNN game show, "Fandango". This show is a version of "Gambit".

This here might of been the reason why Jim didn't want the USA Network to re-run his Tic Tac Dough ep, as he felt it could have hurt his credibility as host or it could have been due to the timeslot this aired in and USA's airing of the TTD repeats.

I wouldn't mind if I had a deck of those cards from "Top Card". Does anyone know where I can get them?

I can't believe this is on here. . .I was a contestant on Top Card. . .can't remember the year exactly, maybe 90 or 91? I was about 22 years old. . .and I lost, but my consolation prize was a deep fat fryer!!! I still kick myself that I didn't tape my own episode when it was aired.

Yeah and sometimes on Jeopardy, the last name is not acceptable in a question. I guess it is so it won't be confusing.

The reason I said that Steven should have froze at 16 is because in blackjack, sometimes 16 can be a tricky number. It depends on what the dealer has. If he/she has something that is lower than a 6, you should stay but if he/she has something that is higher than a 6, you should hit even if it is risky.
