Expect GSN to air this in a few weeks, as they jumped into the 1980-81 season a couple weeks back.

But for the 1st five syndicated episodes of Tic Tac Dough in 1978, Johnny Gilbert was the announcer not Jay Stewart.

This just doesen't look like Thom's game. First he missed his trusty center square that Erik took & now the catagory he hates appearence in the boxneeded to block Erik. Erik looks like a big know it all & is very smart but looks personable. Erk looks like a person who just does what he has to do to win the game. This is where luck comes in to play because your favorite or least favorite catagory can appear in the nessecary boxes; lucky for Thom the questions were softballs.

They were Bob Hilton and Jay Stewart. I think until Charlie O'Donnell took over, Jay Stewart was the original announcer. Hope that helps.

Was John Carpenter the guy on "Millionaire" who used his Phone-a-Friend lifeline to tell his dad that he was going to win the $1 million?

Last year, I watched Thom McKee on Grand Slam and he wound up losing to John Carpenter.
