With an electrical assist motor like the setup used in the Honda Insight The numbers would top 100 MPG.Fiat built a concept car that achieved an astonishing 1 liter per 100 Km fuel consumption. That's in the realm of 230 mpg.But no the US government wont let us use them. Or put them on the docket for discussion at Congressional hearing. Don't ask me why.
