Missed the point entirely, dearie.! ! :( Goebbels used propaganga media to push a belief which was false. The media push, such as can be seen on shows like "Beyond Tomorrow" leads people to believe that electric cars are a practical alternative, TODAY ! They are NOT! My point is; until they are, one could convert the original car to run on CLEAN, ABUNDANT natural gas. So clean, in fact, your gas stove and heater in your house run on it. The CNG Honda Civicpollutes than a Prius, too! :)

How about you learn how to get to your point, but i guess you would need one to do that. Let's examine your brilliant spiel; um ok so the car is electric good research there, and your trying to relate the car to nazi's sad attempt but i mean thats how propaganda works, and now your talking about how much high performance sports car cost and how much to convert it to fossil fuel... good idea. Finally What math are you talking about and what history, of cars? what truth, your truth? your opinion

Hello !This car has Six Thousand Eight Hundred Thirty One Lithium-Ion "laptop" batteries. Please look it up. No kiddin', sport. Dare you. LOOK IT UP !Check the Car and Driver Road Test.Given the right media push, 60 Million Germans were B.S.'ed by Herr Goebels. Media Madness.$121,000.00 for a Lotus which would cost you for the Gasoline version, $52,121.00, the Elise. AND you can convert that Elise to CNG for $4355.00Do The MathRead Your History. And Seek The Truth.

Just so you people know, I think global warming is a bullshit way for politicians to get their hands in your pockets to fix a problem that doesn't exist in an environment they have no control over. However, I think that Nikola Tesla was brilliant and if they can find a way to make the Tesla turbine car financially available to the average person I think that it would be very useful. So far as feul, we need controlled explosions for the torque to get things done so this concept is still lacking.

Not unless the electricity used to charge the vehicle is 100% green either wind or water or solar energy.

not necessarily, it's relative to the torque required to turn the rotor... also if you put it on the back side of the car over the trunk it's not creating additional friction. Utilizing vawt based turbine on it's side seems the way to go... something like a squirrel cage ....you could actually build this for less than $100 to recharge atleast one battery with old hard disk(magnets).. blower fan and some copper wire you could even afford to put iron core into the coils on the stator

"Doesn't pollute", unless you count having to plug it in to recharge. Then, you are in the same boat as every other moving vehicle. Doesn't pollute...unless you drive it and need a recharge.
