Elitism comes from a disparity in education, disparity in wealth, and a scarcity of resources.Technology can make all of these disparities negligible and eliminate elitism. What I don't understand is how Rothkopf comes out and says we are getting taken over or ruled by an autocratic oligarchy, then criticizes people that try to fight it. These people have power because they are insane, the only people that are crazier are people that know this and ignore it or think by joining it they will somehow be spared.

Rothkopf identifies the Bohemian Grove as a key meeting place for the global elite, which I find interesting, because many members have denied that any policy making takes place.All I know is that Richard Nixon is pictured with Reagan at a time where Reagan was nothing but a B-movie actor and Nixon was a popular politician. This serves as proof that there is indeed an elite, presumably recruited due to genetics, is carefully moulded into positions of power.
