The Simpsons license should go to Telltale Games to make a point-and-click adventure game. It would be better suited in this format. Their humor is spot-on and would work well with the series. Take a look at their previous works, most notably Sam & Max.

what's the point in renting this game? the gameplay is very boring, and sometimes frustrating. the best part of the whole game is the humor, but you can just watch all the cutscenes on YouTube for free.i've played the arcade game, before, and I actually kinda liked it. reminded me of one of those TMNT arcade games you would find at chuck E cheese.this game is better than most Simpsons-liscensed games, but that's not saying a lot :(

I LOVE THE SERIES!!!!!!!!!! It's my favorite animated show. I loved the 28 days later spoof! XD I liked the shing spoof too! They are HILARIOUS
