this docu is also part of the 'Oliver and Company - 20th anniversary' DVD. It's still one of my favorite Disney movies.

That would have been the rerelease in 1996. Even though I caught it the first time around, I actually missed it the second time.

I didn't know it was released in the 80s. I thought it was made and released in the mid 90s. I remember watching this in the theater, when I was 6. I LOVED Georgette!

If they spent so much time on making the animation they could of atleast get the cel animation as good the cel shaded CGI. Or even better. I still like the movie. That kept on wanting me to watch it over and over again. Which I did. I wish did not look like a spastic or a little kid watching these movies. You know what I am saying.

Sad when you think of what happened later, all the animators were fired and Pixar does all of the Disney movies. But this winter the first 2D Disney movie in a while is coming out, The Princess and the Frog. I'll see it if only to show Disney that 2D is still profitable.

Wow that's awesome! I actually have seen Huey Lewis in concert at the Big Fresno Fair! I never knew he did music for "Oliver and Company." This was always one of my favorite movies too. Awesome! :D

One thing type of animation that I liked about this movie was the trucks, buses and cars. Instead of showing people in the windows of the vechiles, they had the reflection of the outside in the windows. It was a nice touch because it was different.

Funny thing is Cheech Marin has been in 3 Disney movies now: this one, as a hyena in "The Lion King", and in Pixar's "Cars".

I haven't seen Oliver & Company, but just watching this video about it makes me think I would like it. I would like it because it has great singers like Ruth Pointer from the Pointer sisters, Billy Joel & Huey Lewis. And from the sound of it, it's sounds like it has music from the 80s in it & I like 80s music.
