Ummmm.....WHAT!? If we made everyone drive an electric car, the environment would be in a much better position. Will it happen? Probably not. Its called REALITY! No money, no change! Unfortunately, until money no longer matters...well, you get the point.BTW, it takes a man AND a woman to produce a child! Thats some sexist shit if you think otherwise! Jessicadim....your pretty "Dim" if you believe that!

Yes but then the education should not happen only in female cases as you said. For a woman to be respected the male should be educated and learn what respect stands for. For as much as a woman can ask for that respect, unless the male or other females aren't educated then respect is not going to happen. and Rape can happen even if the woman is educated. Rape is somethign that can happen to any woman sadly, rich and educated or in poverty and uneducated and vice versa

Chill out guys. This isn't a sexist thing, this is feminism, this is FACT. Let's face it: GIRLS are the ones that make babies, and the main problem why this world is in such poverty has to deal with too many children in countries that can't afford to feed them. Where is rape happening the most in this world? Where women are uneducated and not respected. Education and Respect for women = less babies = less poverty = better world! If you want to be "rational," GET REAL. It's economics.

ok. this is horse shit. someone believes in a girl, and she gets ONE cow, and the cow reproduces asexually??and you dont fix poerty by imagination. This is just irrational. Give some random girl that lives in poverty an opportunity and she solves all world problems. Its not the fact that shes a woman, its the fact that shes uneducated. How do you put her in a school uniform and give her an education?? THERES NO MONEY If you gave a man in poverty an opportunity he would fuck up also. dumb

then he would get beat down by all the other men. the reason they feel women as inferior in these countries is religion, mainly Islam. Thats why women in afghanistan had to wear burkhas, because the Islamic government mandated it. You dont fix this, bcuz its about religion. You cant sway someones beliefs.

I think we also need to educate the men as well in those countries. They need to learn to value the lives of their women. If only one strong man would stand with these women to show women are just as important to their country.

I think we also need to educate the root of the problem, the men in those countries as well. The need to learn that all life is valuable. We need a strong man to stand up for the women.

I saw this on oprah... I thought it was a little sexist to guys, but heck, they can take it if we can... Anywho, we're going to have to realise that women or men (or even transgendered) black, yellow, red or white, gay, straight, anything in between... regardless, we're all human beings. This is a step that I strongly support. Amazing.
