Jason Voorhees was only in part V as flashbacks/dreams/visions, it was a copycat killer who stole Jason's mask and technique to hide his own killing spree. I can't remember who it was, but it wasn't Jason. I didn't get it the first time either, wikipedia what would I do without you?
