What a hit! They don't make music like they used to. Most of the songs in this 1984 Cars album are so great and so inspiring, I mean, for 80s music. Music back then had so many great tight tunes. I love thy 80s, those were the days, the prosperous days that I still miss to this day. All thanks to The Cars, the best band of all times. They deserve an A+. Thank you.

The funny thing about this video is that it's a pretty accurate reflection of Ric Ocasek's self-image. Notice the rest of his band-mates don't even appear until near the end. Still a great song, and the single second of video at 2:46 is forever seared in my consciousness. I want to meet those young ladies in the purple dresses (but as they were THEN).
