i dont think they are stupid, they are professionals, and only they really know how table tannis must be played, one thing is to be watching the match, and a completely different thing is to be in their shoes ¡¡ they do what they have to do ¡¡

Man you should get a real racket you would love it :)And they don't have to be that expensive either, you can get a real cheap 729 blade with a few 729 rubbers for like $30/40 max, and they will be fast, very spinny and tacky too.

I'm a basement player (and proud of it.) and in my experience you have to rely more heavily on spin in a basement situation because of the lack of space. I have a mid/low range paddle (Butterfly Naifu) and I've had shots with 2 or more feet of lateral movement.

it has something to do with a ball that weighs approximately 2.7 grams, 40 mm diameter, and spins upwards of 150 revolutions per second. Yes 150. Per second. Real table tennis is ALL about spin, unlike the usual basement table tennis played with crappy rackets with non grippy rubbers that don't produce much spin. There is a lot of modern technology in making rubbers to produce as much spin as possible.

Many times depends on the angle of the ball, the spin of the opponent, and of course the angle player. If he is also far to deep it would be impossible to place a dropshot

those people playing are so stupid sometimes when the player is standing deep and far back why not hit a dropshot and then hit it hard again. i like the last point, amazing!

It's called topspin (with a bit sidespin).
