No. At idle, the clutch is dead loose. It re-engages when you get up to speed again.

Yes, you have to use the clutch above that RPM, but it is a hot knife on butter.

if the clutch disengages below 1500-2000 rpm,then how would you shift gears without using the clutch above 2000 rpm? it would still be engaged and so you must have to use a clutch lever or else know the "sweet spot" pretty darn good
