the charge of the bullet leaving the gun is what caused the recoil to bring it back to hit her in the head so theres no way possible she could've shot herself in the head by accident....the bullet had already left the gun and the bullet moves much much faster than the recoil of the gun so your wrong about it beign possible or unfounded because the order is 1st the bullet leaves the barrell and then 2nd it causes the gun to recoil.

the girle isnt stupid, she was only learning so she obviously didnt know what to expect she held the gun and pulled the trigger as she was supposed to, she may have been too weak to keep the recoil from bringing the gun all the way back but hows she to know what to expect...thats what the instructor is for.
