There are some comments from creationist, about individuals who are undoubtedly great intellectual. They know they have nothing left to argue for. So they attack by fabricate lies about scientist and intellectual. However, there is nothing they could do to stop the growing understanding around the world about the reality of the universe by people.

@kockgunner In what way does the video show we're "here not by accident". Every last fact that he presents supports the plain truth, that we are not some kind of chosen being in the universe. We're here yes....so are hundreds upon hundreds of other species, and millions of rocks and billions upon billions of stars...lots of things are here. so what?

Mountain of evidence proving what? We're still here aren't we? Doesn't video further confirm we are here not by accident?

And this isn't a "belief system". He's a scientist, stating facts and giving you his logical take on what those facts conclude. He's not an actor....HE'S AN ASTROPHYSICIST. I've met him and he may be dramatic, but he's still a brilliant guy loaded with knowledge about the universe. Check him out at the Hayden Planetarium...Good chatting with ya c3n1x. These rants are what makes life fun. = )

@c3n1x He doesn't claim to have discovered all this information. Pay attention, he's just bringing it together to put life into context; that we may be an amazing defeat of the odds against our existence, but we're not some kind of supreme, chosen being in the universe. He prepared a speech...that's what you do for a conference. It doesn't discredit his intelligence as an astrophysicist.I DO AGREE WITH YOU: we should be thankful, just not to some imaginary man in the sky.

The funny thing the people here don't seem to realize how dumb they are to buy in to such a negative belief system. All of these mathematical chances of disaster are a part of our universe and nature, but it's this same system that has put us here in the first place. Why not just be thankful?
