Consequently, besides the queen, the only bees alive (or emerged) at 12 weeks will have been laid between weeks 6 and 9 3 weeks laying at 1000 eggs a day is 21000 bees.

No way will she have laid that number of eggs, for the reason that there won't be enough foragers to bring in supplies to feed them. OK you might feed them, but you still need nurse bees and you will have some shortage of them for a few weeks. Assuming the queen starts laying immediately on hiving then three weeks from hiving the first workers will emerge. By the ninth week all those workers will be dead, all the ones in the package will be dead at 6 weeks.

I think its time for you to know your bee facts before you assume anything. A queen bee will lay about 1000 eggs a day in the summer months. So in 2 months she will have laid 60,000 eggs.

9000 to 60000 in 2-3 months?Impossible. It's time for you to go back to your textbooks and study how fast a colony increases per generation, the laying rate of the queen and the life expectancy of a worker bee.

If I put sugar syrup straight on the ground like that, it would be swarming with ants in about an hour, then they find the hive and its good-by bees.
