damn, thats impressive...keep up the good work...my best times are 10.4 100m 4.34 40 my most recent is 4.41 but my 400 sucked 56.00 and . my advice to you young man, is keep it up, enjoy the ladies but not too much like i did and lose focus and, balance out your cardio with your weight lifting, at 230 all i can do know is run a 4.41 40, after that who knows, lol. also, stay in summer track and if you dont play football, run cross country to stay in shape.

i ran my 40 today for practice...i got a 4.89...i did way better then last season workouts i was at a 5.32...but the best workouts i say from expeirence is stretching and steps....help alot

well im 6'2 and when i first ran it at 275 (mostly muscle) i ran a 5.02. theres a kd same height at 300 even that is all muscle bu he runs a 4.95. crazy bibg guys got wheels

Thsi one is better than his 'vertical jump' training. The 40 yard dash should be considered as a 'drive phase', with head down, accelerating throughout the entire distance. Trying to take as long and as fast a stride as possible to increase top speed. Worked for me (granted, it took 2 years of practice) Started with a 4.56seconds, ended with 4.29 on track with cleats... not bad for a guy with a 32" inseam...
