I loved many parts of the film, it was epic, but you're right that the relationship between Arthur and Gwen seemed very superficial...

Yeah, I agree with you there. As some other commenter pointed out, their chemistry was a little off. It wasn't a bad movie overall, though. I was engaged :D

Oh definitely. I love the legend of Arthur, such an Arthur nerd myself, but I really liked how... they did it for lack of better words, and while I loved it there were parts that were off for me. I think Keira Knightley wasn't exactly... a great actress in this. Nor was Gwenievere written nicely? I think things were just too awkward with her character or jarring?

Startingsprinter, I totally agree with you. The music is awesome, but the movie lacked in so many ways, chemistry between arthur and gwen most of all.

Good point, but I found the fantastical elements of the legend to be most appealing, and the movie's exclusion of them didn't really do it for me. Guess it's just a matter of preference.

I loved the movie. I thought it was tastefully done, but it's hard to see it as an Arthurian extension. I think they did do well for it though considering they tried to eliminate the fantasy side of the legend, and place it into a more real and raw sense. I loved it regardless.

Film średni, ale zawsze jak leci w TV to obejrzę. Za to muzyka piękna. Jest chyba najmocniejszą stroną filmu.
