The 80's have got to be the most diverse era for popular music. It started with big concert rock (Led Zep) and disco, along came punk and metal rock (AC/DC), pop (Talking Heads), and then the british new wave invasion, rap(2 live Crew NWA), country, and the finished up with glam rock (Poison) and dance music (Bobby Brown). I doubt you will find that diversity in the years of 2000-2010. What a great decade the 80s were.

I won't curse you dude. Your absolutely right to forget it nowadays. Some indie music today is good, but bands like Nickleback and their ilk make me cringe.Long live bands like the Cars, the Smiths, The clash, even some of those electronic bands LOL.
