I think you'd find that the "un-trainable" and "un-useful" dolphins are kept in Dolphin Cove. A completely different area then the show Dolphins... Why don't you put your arguments into something worthwhile like Japanese Whaling.

I did have a link to the legislation for US and Europe but I can't find it at the moment. But North America and Europe CANNOT import captured cetaceans. I can't go see the film, because the coverage in the UK is dreadful. We don't know what these animals feel, no one ever will. But I think we can agree is that the captures and slaughter need to stop. But please, please, please look at the legislation before saying the wrong thing =)

i think we all got the knowledge to know that these wonderful animals can´t be happy there...have seen the movie 2times and i think we all should support the organisation...i think you also should see it. (and dolphins in san diego are also from taiji...)

Was that directed at me? It's actually part of legislation which means wild caught cetacean's aren't allowed to be imported into North America OR Europe. Generally the Dolphins caught in Taiji stay in Asia or Russia. Regulars to SW and other places in Europe would certainly know if there were new arrivals. If I can get anywhere to see The Cove I will, but the coverage in the UK is awful =S

America, Australia and Europe can't actually import captured Cetaceans and haven't done so since... 1996 (I *think*) but Russia, Japan, China etc can. The slaughter and capture does need to stop, but it isn't Sea World that are taking those dolphins =) Just trying to be helpful and not rude =)

Errr the US and Europe aren't allowed to import captured cetaceans. It really isn't Sea World that take the few live victims of Taiji. They generally go to Japan or China. Of course the slaughter and capture needs to end. But please get your facts right about which countries can and can't import wild cetaceans =) not meant to sound rude, thought you should know that it isn't Sea World in America that are taking those =)

SHAME ON YOU SEAWORLD!You know you perpetuate the killing of dolphins in Taiji Japan, right? I keep myself informed but the degree of you involvement was unknown to me, until now. I have viewed the film The Cove and you are fully exposed in your criminal actions. The killing of the dolphins that are deemed un-useful and un-trainable by the aquariums around the world are slaughtered in the most inhumane manner. Japanese fishermen (killers of the unbelievably egregious form)

someone said that slaughtering dolphins is illigal in there. Well i must say that i don`t think it means no one does it. Because if it would we wouldn`t have this broplem. about 30 000 dolphins are slaugtered every year from september till april. It is so cruel the way that some people kill dolphins and whales, it`s totally heartless. I don`t think it`s smart to catch dolphins just to make them act like a dog or something.
