This song is the bomb with it's Disco-era chorus play on the hi-hats. The lead singer was a pretty good dancer.

The lead singer isn't the only one from the original famous line-up (when they had their hits) The Native Amer. dude & the tall Afr. Amer. dude in the white T-shirt were both in that famous original line-up This video was made EARLY before they got really big.Who knows if those other guys can singMaybe they were just hired as dancers Yea , I had this on 8-Track tape , knew all the words to every songI'm still amazed to have seen Grandmas dancing & singing YMCA @weddings -TOTALLY INTO IT

Dammit! I saw this record in a record store about 13 years ago and didn't pick it up because I steared clear of Village People because of it being overplayed. Now I regret it. This is a JAM!!!

I believe I like this hit by the Villiage People more than YMCA, maybe it's because the latter was overplayed....don't get me wrong I still love YMCA. This song here is new to me as I didn't hear it played all that much on the radio in Vancouver Canada, where we have the biggest pride parade north of San Fransico!! it's true, I've been there for the past five years along with a half million others. Thanks for postin this video, it's too bad the audio isn't up to par. I still play & enjoy! lol

Beauris Whitehead saved my life ,I lived with him and with the gold casablanca records,He loved me until i could love myself.Today I share that legacy of love with young queens ,San Francisco was his favorite song and it is mine too.
