Hell, if Ayn Rand is a fascist, then who isn't a facscist?

Maybe, since he knew Neil wasn't gonna be there, he decided to not waste his time on Neil's books.

To be fair, Pert looks like it would be pronounced "Pert" in every dialect of English under the Sun. I know fie-hard Rush fans that say Pert and not Peert. In fact, I think you might be wrong. And yes, people ought to know by now that it's Ine and not Ann. On the other hand, being ignorant about Ayn Rand is okay. Not missing much. ;-)

OK, "small" mistakes is a better way of putting it.

It really bugs me when people bash other people for mild mistakes, we are all human. Interviewing people is probably harder than it looks. Let me you, computer animation is MUCH harder than it looks.

Sad thing is for a guy doing an interview with Rush, it would have been nice of he properly pronounced Neil's last name its not provounced PERT, like shampoo, its Peart, as in peert, and also he pronounced Ayn Rand as Ann Rand, when it is Ayn like Ine... what a dumb ass with such a cool job.

Alex and Geddy are just sitting there at the beginning... thinking this guy giving the intro is just a suck up. X)

Despite its length, this is an excellent interview; certainly my favorite among the many I've come across so far. x]Oh, Geddy! XD 5:58 struck me as hilarious. "It's like looking at old photographs. You think, 'I was wearing those glasses? They're eating my face!'" :p Unfortunately, that was true. XD

What an excellent well crafted interview and a pleasure to literally stumble across.Having been a UK rush fan (unashamedly) since 1977 I never tire of hearing the band members own thoughts on their music and also their memories of the making of albums etc.i found myself momentarily reminiscing about who I was at certain points in my own life, what i was doing, what my aspirations were but most of all remembering that rush and their music was ,and still is a pleasant and welcome part of my own life

That was a great interview. Thank you so much for posting it! As a loyal fan since 1974, I have never tired of their wonderful music. They have such an honest, open and humble attitude that is so refreshing. Simply good people, and we are so blessed to have been part of their lives through their legendary music.

This was fantastic. Thanks so much for posting it. They are so humble even after all these years. That and their integrity has been the keys to their success. Not to mention that in my opinion, they are the most talented rock musicians (alongside Queen, Yes and a few others), to ever exist. God Bless you Geddy, Alex and Neil for what you've given us for more than 4 decades! I am one of the fans you discussed and became a musician myself due to RUSH.
