Don't even say it like it's unamerican. Humility in realizing past mistakes our leaders have made is just about as American as you can get. We were attacked because we have been accidentally killing civilians in the mideast in our oil wars for the better part of half a century. I know this is going to sound very Un-American, but Osama Bin Laden has a point. We've been bombing Iraq and the middle east for decades, but we never hear of anything about it. But than when Bin laden attacks us, all reason goes out the window and the enemy is seen as just pure evil. Why don't we stop for a few seconds and actually try to understand why they attacked us on 9/11, because if you still believe that they attacked because we're rich americans, than you're quite mistaken.
