I hear you, the music from the 60's was just so damn awesome, i grew up as a kid in the 80's and 90's and while some of the music then and now is good, it's no where near as powerful or real as it was back then. Now we have all this reality tv and manufactured crap with only a few good bands left. Sorry to hear about your brother too dude

My brother was in Vietnam during 1968-1069 and he said that whenever he hears this song (in particular) and others from that great era of music-he can almost see the Huey choppers descending to the landing zone with guns firing. He still has shrapnel in his leg and a bullet wound in his arm from that bloody war.

I've made a lot of edits to my "Top 100" favorite tunes list since I got interested in music 50 years ago. But this song has been my #1 favorite since it first came out.
