Not much to really think about with all the safety lines. It would be a different story without those.

agreed... do normal squats... or pistols... train the toes by actually climbing on the wall... and trying to step precisely on the footholds..

i know this was 6 months back..but a dude said you shoudl squat on your toes?......its not good, its bad form for a squat and can result in knee/hip problems, do normal squats and calf raises seperately =]

just do a lot of squats on your toes, and hold squats against the wall. Just let them burn. LOL or start skateboarding(your on your toes the whole time).because im just the opposite to you. Im a skater and snowboarder, so my legs are great but my upper body needs alot of improvement.Peace

Anybody wanna tell me how to improve the strength and flexibility of my legs? I have pretty good upper body strength but whenever I climb it's my legs that let me down. For example, any course that I can do with my legs I could probably almost do it solely using my arms.

haha they climb at the level they need to for the competition. These routes seem to be in the 5.9+/5.10 level, but that's just a guess.
