I would definitely prefer to play the blues than metal anyday. Metal just starts getting old after awhile. And as JImi Hendrix once said, "Blues is easy to play but hard to feel."

I saw RL for free at Harbourfront Centre in Toronto about 15 years ago. About 30 of us sitting on the grass while RL played acoustic guitar and sang. The best blues show I've ever seen.

Outside of the poor vocal pick up -The best dam version of that song ever recorded. The sound of his guitar gets me emotional. And a LOT of it has to do with the drummer coming up beside him at every bend and turn.

is the backing guitarist the same that played on samuel jackson's performance of Saggolee in the film Black Snake Moan?

For sure. The drummer is actually RL's grandson. I'd way rather watch a drummer like him that pours his heart and soul into what he's playing than someone like Travis Barker.
