I'm also a Christian Arab. One of the things that the rest of the Arab world needs to address is the world's perception that every Arab is either anti-Israel or anti-Islam. You do nobody any favors by perpetuating that stereotype. If you want to find something to hate or fight, why not start in your back yard? It's funny, but I've found that Israeli mothers love their children just as much as Arab mothers.

yes Bud.Your right.some mullahs seem to hijack the spotlight.and the media focuses on them as they "shock" the audiences.Western society has been deteriorating.:( im 42 now when I was a kid, old lady on bus. young people had to give seat to her or where scolded /physically removed from seat for not showing manners/respect etc. Nowadays it's so materialistic, shallow and the old ladies have to stand on the bus etc :(.just hope you folks find a middle way.westernization isn't the answer imho

If you're on a bus in Jordan and the bus is full, and a lady rides on, it's a social respect to give her your seat without negotiations. That means women in many cases are a priority to make sure they well respected. I'm not denying the oppression they undergo, but I have to credit the Arab societies in many different aspects for respecting the purity of women. Hypothetically, 2 women American and Arab, one fully covered and one semi naked walking down the street, which one do you lust more?

Mullahs or Muslim clerics don't represent Islam in its pure definition. As been reported before, extremists use the Holy name of God in vain in all religions. When I say protected I mean secure. A girl in the U.S. turns 18 and she could legally be kicked out of her house by her parents without her knowing how to proceed. In Arab countries, however many women are oppressed, the overwhelming majority are secure till leaving to their new homes with their spouses. TBC

I can't understand why ... some muslim countries can't leave women alone..let them walk around..wear what they want... etc etc Women aren't "protected" in many muslim societies..unless protected means they need bodyguards to go anywhere... .. How are they protected if they can't walk the street at night by themselves?

I don't know whether you have heard but in Australia we did have a few problems about cultural differences.Ok a few muslim Australians were gang raping white Australian women. They got caught and one got 50 years. The mullah in Australia's response " You arrive in this country and you find yourself sitting beside a girl with an exposed thigh on the train, next minute your infront of a harsh judge who gives you 50 years".This mullah also describes scantly dressed women as "uncovered meat" tbc

The place is a basket case atm.. cause some people were pushed off their land and then treated poorlyHammas is no different from the Stern gang . The stern gang was regarded as a terrorist organization by the british...one of their leaders became israel's prime minister...maybe the same will happen to hammas?maybe?Noone talks about any compensation :( people living in poverty will just perpetuate the problems. The palos don't have anything to lose cause they have nothing.so they fight on

I believe Israel was created by the west to sort of pay them back for what happened in the second world war .. to give them a refuge..but it came about at the arabs expense. They should have moved to Australia. We could have given them the defense, intelligence and finance jobs XD....The israelies aren't going to move... so I can only see compensation .. a hugh amount of cash to the arabs for the land they lost... tbc

DUDE! Firstly, I'm a Christian Arab. So, anything you have to say about that keep to yourself. His Majesty is one out of very few who actually fights for AlQuds Elshareef. Don't forget about the 1.5 million refugees we took into Jordan during the uprisings. Keep your words clean of His Majesty's Royal ancestry, you obviously are brain-washed by the talk of your uneducated Extremist clergy!

His Majesty is a Hashimee. His job is to represent Jordan and the Jordanians in the international community, and be a symbol and an icon, which he is. Bars and clubs ar social life, so don't impose your extreme views on anyone. Hammas is a regression group that seeks unorthodox methods in dealing with things. Thy need to start accepting what they never wanted to accept, they need to compromise and act according to conduct.

first of all your king call himself "Haashimee" but does he behave as an Al-bait member? look at the bars and discos in Amman. he is puppet of american government. thats why he plot against Hamaas. and do you know that Maqdisi is in jail with out any trail for 3 years?

How dare you? You call yourself an active Muslim, well, I got bad news for you "walter Cronkite," you are not. Your judgement to Her Majesty is biased as well as vastly wrongful. Remind yourself how extraordinary Jordan is under the reign of His Majesty King Abdullah The Second.

lebasilah...that is a negatory stereotype. As a matter of fact, it's the least used stereotype. Homosexuality exists everywhere even in Arab countries where it's less accepted than other places. But, neither most or all men engage as mentioned Creative, sorry about my sound is poor, try using high def speakers.
