The only bees I can stand are honeybees. My Grandmother owns some and they're not too aggressive unless disturbed

I'm a paramedic and see RNs every day. Once we even had a situation where a patient told the ER nurse how happy she (the patient) was that paramedics took such great care of her on the way to the hospital. To which the nurse promptly replied: "Well now you're with a nurse. That's better than a Paramedic."To which my partner looked me and said (in his best Beverly Hillbillies accent): "That's right. 'Cause we don't know nothin' 'bout no health care."The nurse scowled at him but said nothing.

IDK why this lady chides herself for not realizing what was going on with her husband. If she didn't recognize the classic symptom of his tongue swelling to be a severe allergic response, she wouldn't be expected to know what's happening. People need to stop saying she didn't care. She didn't know. That's different from not caring.Swelling tongue with numbness, a rapidly spreading rash, tightness in the chest. These symptoms are a high-priority trauma that demands prompt attention at ER.

A lot of wasps that build paper nests actually build aerial nests. Most yellow jackets build their nests in dark places, so they use rodent holes (the yellow jackets don't dig the holes themselves), bushes, attics, crawl spaces, etc. I don't know as much about honeybees.

I have a question. Why do wasp make their nests underground, but honeybees keep theirs in second story window eaves?

I dont know for some reason I have a real problem with that power trip R.N. The medics who were on scene first not in the street lady..but just out on the sidewalk ajacent to the E.r.were already taking appropriate action (ALS interventions etc ) the RN walks out and says "I" want him in off the street ! Later she says when "I" transported to ICU "I" felt ...etc..You notice in the end the credit went to the medics...not Miss power hungry know it all R.N. It's not "I" lady..its a team effort !

wow. the scary thing is my father got stung by a swarm of yellow jackets yetserday. he was mowing the lawn and mustve ran over a nest on the ground. he claims he got stung at least 6 times. we ran around from the back into the front yard and into the house. he brought some in the house with him. Then he started turning red and he looked dizzy/drunk. he collapsed and passed out. he kept losing and regaining consciousness. my mother was hysterical. we called 911 together about 4 times total
