Many people cannot afford health insurance because of pre-existing conditions. Even if you have health insurance, they may not pay for services anyway. Their job is to refuse you. The medicine or procedure they might consider experimental for one.

some things just need to be socialized and i think health care system should be a hybrid mixed system, everyone has right to go to hospital and get treated for free, but if u want a better service then pay for ur expenses and get a better treatment.

A lot of ppl think socializing things is evil, well look at fire dept, police, library, army they all socialized and yet no one complains about it. Gov regulates utility company's profits but they dont regulate profits for pharmaceutical companies. US can afford building 2 new hospitals in every middle sized town in US and still have lotta money from ur taxes. If u think socializing is evil then stop paying taxes cuz u r paying for the other ppl to read books in library using ur tax money

The politicians vote themselves raises all the time. I think they can live comfortably, if they give everyone healthcare and stop giving themselves raises.

I am pissed we don't have health care. The country spends one billion dollars a day on the war. I say stop the war and give us health care.

The reason behind it is that more people will demand to want to see it, and therefore, it will make more money for the movie.

The closest theater that is showing Sicko is 1 hour away and there are 8 big movie theaters around where live. I called and talked to a manager at one. He said the movie was released to 500 theaters in the USA. It was actually Weinstein who decided to do this.

If you didn't take notice, then I reiterate, drink soy milk all the way you like but if you want to grow taller, make sure it is FERMENTED. Otherwise, drink BGH/rBST-free milk.

the phytoestrogen amount in soy far outweighs what's found in those you mentioned. Like I said, it's only ONE of the many reasons why Asians are relatively shorter. Most inhabitants in the Asian region also suffer from lactose intolerance which explains the absence of dairy in their staple diet. White rice likewise is devoid of EFAs which affects the pituitary gland, thereby affecting height, etc. Of course everything is debated BUT LIKE I SAID, I mentioned two options in the previous comment.

I will check today. I don't live in a hick town. There are probably 5 or 6 movie theaters around me. Al Gore's movie didn't play anywhere around me. It could be more economical, however, I think the movie is doing quite well.

Maybe, we should be proactive before these illnesses of addiction become serious health problems. Maybe, if people could get regular physicals and be able to join healthclubs and get rewards for going might be a good incentive. Behavioral modification should be free to deal with these addictions.

The government wants to put caps on malpractic lawsuits anyway. Another big problem is malpractice insurance because of the frivolous lawsuits. Doctors do work for medicare and medicaid and get paid the same.

Who is going to work in the universal healthcare system? Better - Why would one work as a doctor in that system? Better still - Who are you going to sue when they screw you up, because it doesn't matter the govenment said it was ok.
