Who I favor? At this point John Edwards, the only candidate with a comprehensive health care program and who does not take contributions from the drug or insurance companies (or any other corporate lobbyists. You are in England - What do yoy think of health care in the UK?

i live in norway, i think the one country with the best health care. great thing about our health system is that wealth are never put in front of health. we get all sorts of threatments for free, and have cheap/free medicine. and if you give a doctor's note, confirming that you are sick somehow, to your employer, you will get 100% covered sick-pay. and does it make your angry that my tax money is going sick people? no, im just glad that im not sick, and if i get sick, i dont have to economy ^^

Fringe 111, we ALREADY have a gov't not for the people but to hell with the people, for anything other than the tax dollars they can strip out of our pockets. We're too well fed, too well entertained and too well medicated to give a d___, that is until it is too late. Wake up people! We are the ones who must take action, not our politicians.

You are absolutely right. Unfortunately the financial power of the insurance companies in the US is such that they can literally buy enough votes in Congress to keep things as they are.

great video Im british . universal free healthcare takes a lot of worry off peoples minds . Things are caught earlier because people dont worry about the expense of seeing a doctor. It gets rid of a lot of desperateness and despair , and improves quality of life for everyone. At the moment the main cause of bankrupt americans is healthcare, and you spend more money on healthcare than countrys that have universal healthcare

That's true and if we don't wake up soon and fight for what we believe in we will have a gov't not for the people but to hell with the people.

Yes there are huge problems. They exist because most Americans are lethargic and most elected officials only care about being reelected.

Most people get that there is a huge problem, and what some sort of universal care. I think that the bigger problem is that the American people don't realize that it's up us to get it and change things: getting health care; ending the war in Iraq; ending the nuclear threat. So yes, we need to wake up and realize that consistent organized effort is the only way.

Thank you so much. You, being the historian you are made a very good point. I didn't know about fire department insurance when our country first began. So we have learned from our mistakes. I'm sure we will again this time
