That is not just sad - it's pathetic.Out of all the questions, there is one I can't answer... and I think thats because I'm misunderstanding it. Is the second question of the videowho is in the coalition of the "willing"... because I've never heard of it.And I have an excuse... I'm only fifteen. I would really, really love to believe that this was staged, and that real people aren't stupid enough to forget how many sides a triangle has, but I'd probably be lying to myself.

Nope. But enough of a majority that managed to vote Bush a second time. And who bring the danger of yet another Republican term this time very real.

Australians might be more informed on Hollywood culture of celebrities & movies. Not geopolitics or history. That is because local entertainment productions are inferior and scarce in comparison. Hence, Americans are not as exposed to outside markets and cultures, as the domestic ones are self-sufficient. Like Americans, Australians reckon that they are the only ones around. Ignorance wasn't manufactured in the US; it's endemic.

CNNN Great commentry on a country the NFI when it comes to the rest of the world. Please notice however that most of those interviewed seemed happy, ignorance is obvioulsy bliss and the purpose of this video was surely to prove this.....

fisherpriced.I certainly believe you and agree to you... In America there has so many people with great minds, but the problem is that the lower class and the middle class are really seen mindless, in my opinion. The educations system doesn't work.. Pity

It's American's like these that give us all a bad name. I'm an American, and I could have answered every single on of those questions. And so could many other Americans I know. Not all of us are completely ignorant. People really shouldn't generalize and say that all Americans are stupid. However, I do realize that there are, unfortunately, a large number of American's who do live up to this unfortunate stereotype, which makes me quite sad.

shmul83, you are very wrng. The thing that always astounds me about Aamericans is how ignorant they are about the rest of the world. I've lost count of how many Americans have been certain that Australia is either an American state or a country where nobody speaks English. It really is frightening that the average citizen of the world's superpower (not to mention the leader) can be so incredibly stupid.
