Sir, if you would go ahead and wait until you enter the 8th grade before making a comment, you would know that the Infrared light emitted from any light source is invisible to the human eye- NOT red. Like I believe I said in the video, the only reason you can see ANY light is because the camera detects the light, and changes it into a different color in the spectrum that our eyes can see. This camera chooses to change all invisible light to bluish white.Thank you for your time.

What exactly is the problem with using scissors to cut and strip wire?

Well, he wrote the program in C#, I believe, which solely runs on windows. He's asked for help from Linux and Mac devs on sourceforge. He doesn't have time to do this at the moment, so it would be great if someone could help translate it into maybe Java or something. Anyone can download the source for free (it's really simple... I'm not a programmer, but otherwise I would love to help.

I have not tried it myself, but you should be able to get his programs to run under wine.(Yes there is a mac version of wine. Unfortunately, the current implementation of X11 (not an OS, its a window manager) in Mac OSX is buggy and so many programs that require 3D support are unable to run.)
